2010 Verwood Celebrates 25 years of twinning
with Champtoceaux in
France.
Our friends from Champtoceaux are visiting us from Thursday 13th
May to Sunday 16th .
They plan to bring over 70 people this year.

for both guests and hosts.

: Coaches
leave the Hub Car Park for a visit to
Lacock
Village
, Abbey and the Fox-Talbot museum. Arrive approx 10:45.

 Lacock
village is a 13th century village which remains largely
unchanged across the centuries. Lacock Abbey is a former convent which
was changed into a magnificent country house.
It
was one of the locations used in the Harry Potter films and in numerous
television costume dramas. The Fox Talbot museum celebrates the life of
the owner and resident of Lacock Abbey in the 1830s, photography pioneer
Henry Fox-Talbot.

Lunch
at

in (one of) two pubs in the village. Traditional English Ploughmans
with tea or coffee provided. Cash bar.

. Return via A342, A360 for a view of
Stonehenge
